Some TMNT stuff really isn't for little kids. |
Grunt is a minor character who debuted in TMNT #105. Presumably he is one of the victims of Old Hob's mutagen bomb and thus has been confined to live in Mutant Town.
History[]
In the IDW continuity, Grunt first appears in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles issue #105, as a patron of the heavy metal nightclub named Kennel Klub. He was seen in the background alongside Scrag, Dumbo and Dopey when Bandit and Puggle confronted Jennika.
He is later with Puggle, Bandit, and some other mutants who are anti-Splinter Clan. After Bandit gives a speech about Jennika being not one of "their" Turtles, Grunt suddenly spots her and the group gives chase. TMNT #134
Relationships[]
Grunt was seen at the Kennel Klub standing together with Scrag, Dumbo and Dopey. Their 1987 counterparts, were in a gang together along with Bebop and Rocksteady.
Grunt has also associated with Bandit and Puggle, as he congregated with them following the Null Turtles' assassination attempt on Baxter Stockman.
Physical appearance[]
As a mutant, Grunt is a muscular lizard mutant with green scales and a distinctive yellow mohawk. He wears a black cross harness over his chest, leaving the majority of his torso on display.
