— Groundchuck, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge

Groundchuck is a cyborg mutant bull in the employ of the Foot Clan. He appears as the second boss in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project.

Groundchuck is fought on a submarine, Baron Von Spleen's Battle Barge. At the end of the stage, he emerges from a door, and takes to attacking the turtles. Groundchuck fights with running head-charges and kicks, and opens himself up to attack when he runs into the sides of the screen. After taking some damage, he will walk over to the wall and pry a piece of piping from it, adding a painful swing of it to his attack pattern.

After his defeat, the player/players' selected turtle(s) will enter the door Groundchuck came from, and then ride the sub the rest of the way back to New York City.

He returns as the boss of Episode 4 of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, this time teamed up with Dirtbag. When Bebop and Rocksteady crash the Turtle Tenderizer into the zoo, Groundchuck and Dirtbag capture them along with the head of Krang's Android Body. Groundchuck attacks the turtles by launching sprays of horns at them, as well as charging around the arena and running over any opponents (or even his partner Dirtbag) that get in his way.

Equipment[]

  • Cybernetics: Groundchuck is outfitted with cybernetics which likely enhance his abilities.
  • Pipe: Groundchuck will rip off part of a pipe from the submarine wall to fight with.
  • Horn Launcher: In Shredder's Revenge, Groundchuck can fire sprays of horns at his opponents.
