The Gronks are a species of alien which are seen fighting against the Spasmosaur and failing. Raz Charkov notes that they're lower-level, and would be unable to fight each other off, let alone the Spasmosaur. The Triceraton Homeworld

The Gronks are tiny in comparison to the Spasmosaur, which may indicate that they are approximately the size of an average human (the Spasmosaur is not seen in comparison to any other beings than the Gronk, but other incarnations of the beast depict it as being rather massive). In the First Comics color printing of the Mirage Studios ouvre, they are depicted as having cyan skin, and their basketball uniform-like apparel is green and yellow. In IDW Publishing's Color Classics reprints, their skin retains the cyan color and their uniforms are pale yellow with cyan for the numbering, except for #12 whose numbering is hot pink.
