The Great Canal or Grand Canal (Italian: Canal Grande, Venetian: Canal Grando or historically Canałasso) is the major waterway in Venice, Italy.
In the 1987 TV series episode "Venice on the Half-Shell", Krang dumps Shredder in the canal when the Technodrome portal opens between the Volcanic Asteroid and Earth. Shredder asks if it has to do with the portal energy going out of function, when Krang replies it was a thought of his own.
