Graviturtle is a superhero turtle from an alternate reality. He is Leonardo's alternate dimension counterpart. He has the power to fly using his special whip and wears a purple cape with a red 'G' on the back. He first appeared in the 2003 TV series episode Reality Check and as a cameo during the "multiverse" scene of Turtles Forever.
Like Leonardo, Graviturtle seems to be the leader of his brothers, and the one most responsible for keeping them on track.
History[]
Graviturtle in TMNT 2003
Along with his brothers, Graviturtle was once trained by Sliver until their master became evil.
He was first seen in a training simulator where he and his brothers - Blobboid, Griddex and Shellectro - were battling holographic robot monsters. When interrupted by Michelangelo, Graviturtle was baffled by the existence of this strange Turtle and briefly queried whether he was a part of their training program.
He oversaw the scanning of Michelangelo along with Shellectro, speculating on what Michelangelo's fluxing existence might mean. He led on the questioning of Michelangelo as well, but the answers made little sense to him. However, they were interrupted when Mayor April O'Neil arrived with news that Sliver was preparing to annihilate all life on Earth with the Penultimate Nullificator.
Graviturtle and his brothers set out to Sliver's tower to stop him, but they were imprisoned in a cage of Utromidium, which nullified their powers. They managed to escape due to Michelangelo's cunning, but in the fight that ensued, he had limited success against Sliver, as the villain had mastery of all the superpowers these Turtles had. Eventually Michelangelo was able to trap Sliver inside the cage, but with only seconds left before the Penultimate Nullificator was to go off. Shellectro reprogrammed the device to only destroy the tower they were standing in, and Graviturtle flew away with Griddex to safety.
Later, he dedicated a statue of the "Turtle Titan" outside the Shell of Justice.
