A gondola is a traditional boat used in Venice. They are usually powered by a professional gondolier, using an oar to push the craft. These days, they are usually used to carry tourists.
In the 1987 cartoon episode "Venice on the Half-Shell", the Ninja Turtles when visiting Venice ride in a gondola, with Donatello steering until he falls into the water. Bebop and Rocksteady are later seen jumping between gondolas.
