The Goblin Blade is the Sword of Tengu, as it appears 2003 series video games. It is used by Ch'rell in the 2003 video game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles[]

The Goblin Blade is the central plot of Stage 4: Tengu. Hun commands a small squadron of Foot Clan members to raid the museum in search of the blade. The Ninja Turtles witness the break-in and enter the museum, battling multiple Foot members. As they reach the Japanese Exhibit, they catch Hun successfully locating and acquiring the Goblin Blade. Just before the Turtles can stop the large villain, Hun calls forth a Foot Gunner Ninja to deal with them. The Turtles tangle and defeat the ninja, however Hun takes the opportunity to escape with the Blade, whom he successfully delivers to his master Shredder. Shredder himself uses the Blade during battle and is capable of producing a large explosion when stabbed onto the ground.

In the Game Boy Advance version of the game, Shredder wields the blade at the start of his boss fight. Its power grants him a powerful shield of protection, levitation, and can produce energy projectiles. The shield can be disrupted by its own energy; by sending the Goblin Blade's own projectiles back at the shield.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus[]

The Goblin Blade is shown to be under the possession of the Feudal Japan Shredder. He uses this blade during combat. With its power, he is able to call forth lightning blasts and homing energy strikes. It is unknown if he possesses these abilities naturally within his armor as he is able to produce the same attacks without the blade during his assault on the T.C.R.I. building. Mega Shredder uses an unknown sword during his battle, which essentially mimics the powers of the Goblin Blade but can also call forth small lightning strikes from above.

The Game Boy Advance version of the game plays identical to the previous GBA game. Shredder uses the Goblin Blade once more to produce the same powers, starting with an energy shield. This time around, he can utilize the Goblin Blade to produce an afterimage of himself and the blade as well as fire large beams of energy from the Blade.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare[]

Oroku Saki wields the Goblin Blade during battle with the Turtles inside his mansion. Its attacks are identical to those of the two blades wielded by the villain from the previous console game. In this battle, Oroku Saki can dash toward the back of his room and fire off a large array of lightning strikes using the Blade's power.

A bonus collectible movie can be obtained for the game's "Movie Viewer" menu. This video explains about the "Sword of Tengu", the blade's TV series counterpart, narrated by The Shredder.

"Forged from an ageless metal and imbued with the power of the cosmos, the Sword of Tengu is a weapon of glorious and immutable might. In my hands, the sword laid waste to the land. In my hands, the sword raised an army, an army that served me for centuries. And in my hands once again, the Sword of Tengu will deliver unto me...the power to bring this pathetic planet completely under my control! Mwahahahahaha, Ahahahahahahahah!"
