Ghostbear is a professional wrestler turned villain who first appears in Rise of the TMNT. He becomes a mutant polar bear in the Season 1 episode, "Snow Day".

Appearance

Human

He is a large human who has large yellowing teeth. He wears a white fur mask, a red leotard and black boots.

Mutant

He's now a mutant Polar Bear; has become bigger with sharp claws on his fingers and feet has sharp teeth sticking out of his teeth and covered in white fur. He still wears a mask and red leotard.

Personality

Ghostbear is shown to be rather aggressive and also determined to reach his goals.

However, despite this, Ghostbear can also be rather gullible and not very bright.

History

He was Raphael's favorite professional wrestler until Leonardo inadvertently beats him and takes his championship belt, and Ghostbear reveals himself to be a cheater in a rematch. Following a few failed attempts to get even with the Turtles for ruining his wrestling career, he comes into contact with an Oozesquito, and mutates into a polar bear.

Abilities

He has incredible strength and is a very skilled wrestler, but he doesn't always fight fair (1 example; uses bad breath to disarm his opponents). After his mutation, Ghostbear becomes even stronger, and he also can shift between a solid or a ghostly bear.

• Raphael: Raph was a huge fan of Ghostbear until he found out Ghostbear is a cheater. Nonetheless, Raph was amazed when he saw Ghostbear's mutant form for the first time.
