Gang Wars is a story arc written by Tristan Huw Jones for Mirage Studios' Tales of the TMNT. It is about an urban gang war being waged by one remaining renegade faction of the Foot Clan in New York City that wasn't defeated during the City at War story arc. Gang Wars takes a considerably grittier and more hard-boiled approach to storytelling than most Mirage TMNT stories.
With Peter Laird's sale of the TMNT property to Viacom in 2009, both Tales of the TMNT and the Gang Wars story arc were soon cancelled. Gang Wars was never finished.
