Synopsis[]
Zom had in his sights two Utrom guards stationed at the entrance of Krang Palace . She would begin her massacre with the Emperor's son . A voice behind her, very familiar, asked her to stop immediately. It was about Zog , who knew her by heart and knew very well where she would be after the message she left him ( TMNT Universe # 16). The general wanted to see with his own eyes what Zom had told him about. They also had to clean the archive room and think about the near future of their species. The situation was very serious. Zog was having trouble taking the news. Despite this, it was out of the question for him to intervene without thinking. They had to have a plan. The triceraton refused to sacrifice his own in the fight that was to come. Zom would have liked an immediate and radical uprising. Rather, his general wanted to operate in a tactical manner and limit losses.
A few hours later, General Zog addressed all the Triceratons gathered in the barracks. Telling them the terrible news he had just heard, he offered them two possibilities. Remain slaves to the Utroms, or forge their own future by rising up against the Quanin Empire. Although most of them were clones of the original Triceratons, he was convinced that the catastrophe which had precipitated the virtual extinction of their people was not an accident and a mistake in the appreciation of the enemy force, but indeed a way to silence armies that risked getting out of hand. The Utroms, according to him, had deliberately exterminated the Triceratons to create new ones, easier to control. Contrary to what the Utroms might think, they weren't just clones, but unique beings in their own right. They deserved respect and freedom. Two teams were to be formed.
