Solicit[]
Journey back to the height of the Triceraton rebellion against the Utroms and learn the secret history of the Triceraton commander who will have a major impact on the lives of the TMNT!
Synopsis[]
General Zog reflects on his past, and the deaths of his parents when he was only a child. He's interrupted by a Triceraton captain who tells him that Commander Zom's platoon is engaging the last of the separatists. The separatists are desperately trying to escape when Zom attacks, taking a shot to the shoulder in the process. After the battle, Zog drops by and declares that they have lost some of their herd for a relatively minor outpost, and that their bodies won't be left on that planet. He and Zom share a tender moment after he examines her shoulder.
As the bodies are loaded onto their ship, Krang arrives to talk to Zog. He feigns compassion for the Triceratons who have been killed. Once he's left, Zom and Zog discuss their loathing for Krang, and the way that the Triceratons are used by the Utrom Empire, as well as Zom's desire to win "something for us." Zog rejects the idea, saying that the Empire doesn't work that way.
Zog meets with Krang again, where the Utrom callously declares that they have a "fair trade" because the Utroms engineered the Triceratons according to their needs, and clone them to keep them from going extinct. He also is losing patience with his father Quanin, pointing out that all Triceratons except Zog—The First Herd—were killed the last time he was this aggressive. He's planning to take Quanin's power, and claims things will be different for Zog when he does... although he's clearly not being truthful.
In the Hall of Archives, Zom is going over names with the grumpy Utrom Supervisor Mifor. Mifor leaves for a few minutes, and Zom finds an old file of Zog as a baby with his parents. Before she can do anything about it, Mifor returns and threatens her with death for using his terminal, but Zom has a gun with her.
Later on, she sends a message to Zog, talking about how the Utroms don't care about the Triceratons, and how their race needs to have a future. But first she vows that Krang will die.
