Fereydun Robert "Fred" Armisen (born December 4, 1966; 59 years old) is an American actor, comedian, writer and musician. With his comedy partner Carrie Brownstein, Armisen co-created and co-stared in the IFC sketch comedy series Portlandia.
Widely known as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2002 until 2013, Armisen was featured in several comedy films, including EuroTrip, Anchorman, and The Dictator. Alongside serving as the bandleader for the Late Night with Seth Meyers house band, The 8G Band from 2014 to 2023-2024.
His credits in voice acting for animation included The Looney Tunes Show, Big Mouth, The LEGO Ninjago Movie, The Smurfs, The Mitchells vs. the Machines. The Super Mario Bros Movie, Thelma the Unicorn and Fixed.

- Armisen was originally cast as the voice of Krang in the 2016 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, but was later recast with Brad Garrett due to scheduling conflicts.
