In the episode "Rondo in New York", a plan by Shredder brings some classic film monsters—including Frankenstein's Monster—temporarily to life. When Donatello, Oswald Dren and movie-character Rondo expose the monsters to light, the monsters (including Frankenstein's Monster) return to the movie screen from which they came.
