- 'Ninjitsu' is the term most often used in TMNT media, but is considered an archaic and by modern standards, incorrect romanization. Ninjutsu is the actual, correct term. The S 23:30, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

- If this site is to follow "canon", and possibly contrary to what "The S" says, then what is most predominantly used in the series should be honored. While I can't speak for the rest of the series', "Ninjitsu" was the term used in the "original" TV series. --Alan 04:12, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Laird fixed "Michaelangelo" because it was spelled wrong, which I believe was a much bigger deal then "Ninjitsu v. Ninjutsu", Wiktionary says ninjitsu is a common misspelling of ninjutsu. So the reason to use "Ninjutsu" is because its spelled correctly. If you disagree, we can use "Ninjitsu" or be like Wikipedia and not care... or if someone want to ask Laird if he spells it as "ninjitsu" or "ninjutsu", that would be great. Laird changed the spelling of "Michaelangelo", which is the incorrect spelling, to "Michelangelo", which is the correct and what is mainly what used on TMNTPedia. Some of the comic articles use the incorrect spelling because that is what was used in the comic. Just wanted to make that clearer. –ZTurtleMan (Talk | contribs) 16:25, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
