Foot-Brain is an advanced Footbot appearing in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Black, White & Green anthology series. Foot-Brain's origins are not revealed, but it has a hybrid brainalizer, is capable of speech and has the ability to learn on its own.
History[]
Having captured Splinter and April O'Neil, Foot-Brain kneels before Shredder who tells it that it will lead the Foot Clan to victory. However, Foot-Brain has been running a Turtle predictive program which it tells Shredder has stalled. It recommends uploading data found in Splinter's book, because it may contain secrets, locations and insights. Calling Shredder "Father", it says that it is curious what harm can there be to learn from the book. Shredder shouts that he trains it and he forbids failure. Shredder orders Foot-Brain to destroy the book, upload the location for the portal, and then execute the prisoners. This, Shredder says, is Foot-Brain's final test.
Foot-Brain overrides the command and proceeds to examine the book, which allows it to run predictive visualization. After analyzing what it learns from the writings, Foot-Brain returns to tell Shredder that he will not find glory in this attack. Shredder asks if it has read from the book and Foot-Brain answers yes. Then Shredder asks if it no longer wishes to seize glory for the Foot and Foot-Brain says it wishes only to seek honor. But it fears that it can never possess that which was stolen. Shredder says that some students must fail their test to discover the true lesson. Foot-Brain stammers over the word 'fail' as Shredder asks if it could become a student of this as well. Foot-Brain tosses the book aside as it performs another command override. It draws its sword and goes for April, shouting that it has not been programmed to fail. Shredder immediately cleaves its head from its shoulders. Here we learn that 'Shredder' was actually Splinter, and as he returns his katana to its sheath, he says it seems the teacher has failed. Splinter picks up the book and wonders if it could fail the boys someday as well. Meanwhile, April retrieves the Foot-Brain's head and plugs the Technodrome's computers into it in order to brainalize the portal open. This brings the Ninja Turtles in to the fight against the real Shredder.
