Finster was a henchman of Rita Repulsa. He resembled an anthropomorphic white Scottish Terrier. He was an old and wise scientist. He worked for Rita and created monsters and weapons for them.

The Turtles and Shredder make their way into Krang’s stronghold, with Raphael and Leonardo fighting through Rock Soldiers while Donatello, Michelangelo and Shredder try to access the system’s power node. Mikey finds the broken Dimension X Power Morphers and takes them before the two groups meet up. They find Karai trapped in a containment unit and free her so she can assist them in their fight. Don examines the power node while the others fight Rock Soldiers and doesn’t see any booby traps. He believes it will be all right to move it and Leo is glad to hear that, as it all seems a bit too… The sentence is finished for him by the monsters that Rita had waiting there for them. They spring their trap and attack. Finster stands to one side with Goldar, Squatt and Baboo as the battle rages on. Just when the Turtles, Shredder and Karai are backed against a wall by the monsters, the Power Morphers start to glow. The Turtles each take one and morph into Dimension X Power Rangers. As the tide turns in the fight, with the Dimension X Rangers decimating the monsters, Finster is one of the villains to beat a hasty retreat. MMPR/TMNT II #4
