Moonport

The Moonport is a spaceport that exists on the Earth in the future, during the Fast Forward episodes of the 2003-2009 animated series.

Spacecraft and shuttles load up in a cargo bay and then take their places in line inside a runway channel. One by one the spacecraft enter the howitzer gravity lift and are hit by four ignition beams that shoot the vehicle towards the moon.

Using the Moonport, people travelling by spacecraft from the Earth take off, usually travelling towards the Moon.
