Synopsis[]

As April recovers next to a sleeping Klunk, Alopex frantically searches for Lita and the weasels. Suddenly, an injured Lola Cruz crawls in the door, telling Al that the Mutanimals have captured the children.

Back at Sally's mayoral rally, the Splinter Clan fends off the Mutanimal enforcers enough to chase them off. Alopex arrives and tells Raph what Lola told her, and Leo concedes to Raph and Jenny that there isn't time for stealth, and the Clan barges straight into the Mutanimals' compound.

Inside Mutanimals HQ, Hob goes to confront Ray about the enforcers attacking the rally, and sees the Weasels and Lita in a cage. Infuriated, he calls Ray out. Ray insists that Sally's rally is a threat to their power, and Hob argues that he doesn't care about their power as much as he cares about mutant power - that if the people of Mutant Town choose Sally as their political representative, they (the Mutanimals) should support that, and he would consider his project a success. Ray fires back that despite how close he was to Sally, she is a traitor to them and if she is in charge, they'd all be imprisoned or worse.

Just as it looks like Ray might be getting through to Hob to his line of thinking, Zanna suddenly calls out for him, and Hob pulls a gun, met by Ray's own gun. He insists Ray sets the kids free, but Ray says the kids have made him weak. The two of them hear the Splinter Clan approaching, and Hob reiterates that he frees the Weasels, and suddenly, Oroku Saki appears behind Ray and tells him to comply with Hob.

Meanwhile, the Splinter Clan race through the compound, finding it odd that there isn't much opposition, but while searching for Hob, they trash the place.

Hob and Ray are nonplussed by the appearance of Saki, who neither recognizes. Saki knocks out Ray with a shutō to the neck, and when Stone attacks him with a taser, he knocks him out with a punch to the throat. Saki approaches Hob and smacks his gun out of his hand, and opens the cage, freeing the children. Hob protests that the childrens' encampment was not his doing, and tries to get Saki to say something to him, but he sees Raph approaching and disappears.

Raph and Hob argue, and while Mushroom, Lita, and Zink go to Raph, Zanna stays with Hob and he picks her up. Hob insists that Ray was behind everything and he had gone over his head without his knowledge. Raph still insists that Hob needs to answer for what he's done, but Hob points out that Raph was part of the crew responsible for the Mutagen bomb and Mutant Town is just as much his "fault" as anyone else's. Raph jumps Hob and the two brawl, with Raph shouting that he was manipulated. Hob grabs Stone's taser and hits Raph with it, and as he falls, scrambles for his gun.

Despite her feelings for her "Dada", Zanna leaps on to Hob and viciously rips at his gun arm with her claws and fangs. Lita sweeps Hob's leg, and he slumps against the wall. A group of the Mutagen bomb victims in the Splinter Clan arrive in the room, as they angrily advance on Hob, Raph declares payback.
