O'Neil Farm (IDW)

First appearing in issue #29: Northampton, part 1 of the IDW continuity, the farmhouse is a rural dwelling on the O'Neil Farm just outside Northampton, Massachusetts. Within the farm, the house was located at some distance from the farm's barn and later-built greenhouse.

History[]

At the time of the "Northampton" story arc, it was the home of April O'Neil's parents John and Elizabeth, where they had gone to live after John's stroke.

In issue #32: "Northampton, part 4", after introducing her parents to her secret friends Splinter and the Turtles, April gave her parents the vial of ooze she had previously stolen from StockGen, instructing that John should drink it. After John did drink it, he completely healed from his stroke, and soon after he and Elizabeth moved back to New York City to once again live in the family apartment in the Second Time Around building. Subsequently, the farmhouse was usually vacant, but was open to April's mutant friends along with the rest of the farm as a countryside retreat.

After Splinter died in issue #100: "City at War, part 8", his family took his remains up to the farm to be buried, and Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo began living in the farmhouse more or less permanently, with only Raphael returning with Pepperoni to live in the city full-time. Their new clan sister Jennika also occasionally lived in the farmhouse, though would regularly covertly commute between the farm and New York City's Mutant Town.
