The Eye of Sarnath guardian is an extraterrestrial who crashes onto Earth in his spacecraft into a lake in the Central Park in the beginning of the episode "The Incredible Shrinking Turtles".
The Ninja Turtles, who are out practicing, jump into the water and save him from drowning. He gives them the Crystal Converger, before telling them to find the three Eye of Sarnath fragments. He then disappears.
