An explosive shuriken is a device used by the Ninja Turtles in the 1987 TV series. It is used by Donatello in the episode "Return of the Technodrome", to break through the Technodrome walls.
Explosive shuriken are also used in the 2003 TV series by Michelangelo as the Turtle Titan in the episode "The Journal". He uses them to free Silver Sentry from the clutches of Doctor Malignus.
Mikey also uses an explosive shuriken against the Cyber Shredder in the Back to the Sewer episode City Under Siege.
