 HEY, KID, YOU'RE
 A LONG WAY
 FROM NICKTOONS!

Some TMNT stuff was always meant for grownups.

Page 1[]

(Outside of Lab 03 in the D.A.R.P.A. facility, armed guards wait while another attempts to unlock the door.)

Captain "Come on! Come on!"

Guard 1 "I'm almost there..."

Page 2[]

Guard 1 "Ok, I've got access."

Captain "Open it."

(The door opens and the guards cautiously enter.)

Captain "...Can you give me some lights?"

Page 3[]

(When the lights come on, they see the dead guards sprawled on the floor.)

Lewis (guard) "Aw, man..."

Captain "Stockman?"

(The Captain signals for his guards to move out. To one side of the room, Baxter Stockman is seated on a chair.)

Lewis "Don't mess with me, Baxter."

Page 4[]

(The Captain aims his rifle at the seated Stockman.)

Captain "I've got him!"

Captain "Freeze, you son of a bitch!"

(A closer view reveals that the top of Stockman's skull has been removed and is sitting on a table. His brain is gone.)

Page 5[]

Captain "Gawd."

(A giant robot sneaks up behind him.)

SHAK

(The Captain reacts to a sound behind him and looks back over his shoulder to see two giant blades sticking out of the robot's arm.)

Captain "!"

(The robot stabs him in the back, the blades piercing all of the way through his body.)

GLORCH

Page 6[]

Lewis "Captain?"

(The robot blasts the guards.)

KKSSSH KK BUDDA BRKKK

(Nothing moves in the smoke filled ruins.)

Page 7[]

(The robot turns towards Stockman's body. It removes his eye glasses and tucks them into a compartment in its body. Then it leaves.)

Page 8[]

CRREAKKK

(Raphael enters the steeple of an old abandoned church and begins exploring. It's full of stored items, like books and furniture.)

Page 9[]

(Raphael sees a large object covered in a sheet. He yanks the sheet off and is startled to find a giant gargoyle statue.)

Raphael "Hmm..."

Raphael "You gave me a scare, big guy."

Raphael "Now, don't be comin' alive on me!*"

(From bottom of page: *See Turtles and Savage Dragon Crossovers)

Page 10[]

(Raphael continues his exploration. Approaching a pair of shutters, he throws them open and steps through a window onto the church's upper ledge.)

Raphael "...It's perfect..."

Page 11[]

(At the Jones Farm in Northampton, Donatello is in the kitchen, preparing a meal. He glances through the window and watches a police car pull up in from of the farmhouse.)

Donatello "Uh oh..."

(A policeman (Longer) gets out of the car.)

Page 12[]

(Longer climbs onto the porch and peeks through a window.)

Longer "Hello?"

CREAKK

(He opens the window and climbs through into the living room.)

Longer "Hello?"

Longer "This is the police. Is anyone there?"

SNIFF SNIFF

(Longer sniffs the air and walks into the kitchen, where he sees the table has been set for one.)

Page 13[]

Longer "Hmm..."

Longer "Tuna casserole..."

SLAM

(After hearing a door slam, Longer goes out through the back door and surveys the area. There is no sign of anyone.)

Page 14[]

(Longer walks back to his patrol car to radio in.)

Longer "Yeah, dispatch - this is Longer."

Longer "I'm at 42 Burr Hill Road checking out the report of activity ...the house is definitely vacant. However, I scared off somebody who was using the kitchen..."

Longer "Do you have a listing for the owners? They should be notified..."

Longer "Arnold Jones."

Longer "Did you say Jones?"

Page 15[]

(One of April's tenets, Louis Braunze, walks out of his apartment and onto the fire escape. He is wearing a robe and carrying a cup of coffee, drinking it as he looks out over New York City.)

Page 16[]

(Braunze glances down to see the other tenet step out onto her fire escape with her laundry.)

Braunze "Good morning, Miss Tillet."

Miss Tillet "Uh? Oh, good morning, Mr. Braunze."

Braunze "Beautiful morning, isn't it?"

Miss Tillet "Yes, I suppose it is ...say, did your rent get raised?"

Braunze "Yes."

Miss Tillet "It's not fair. A new owner comes in an' the first thing they do is raise the rent...who does she think she is?"

Page 17[]

Braunze "Oh, I don't know, she seems nice enough to me. She's only been here a few months. Don't be so quick to judge her."

Miss Tillet "Hmph. Well, I don't approve of it- an unmarried couple living together in my building, especially with a child..."

Braunze "Now, now, that's enough."

Braunze "I'm sure we've all done something that others would find objectionable."

Page 18[]

(In the sewers, Leonardo shows Michelangelo a place he's discovered that he believes will make a good lair.)

Leonardo "Here it is."

(They enter the space together and look around.)

Page 19[]

Leonardo "So- what do you think?"

Michelangelo "It's cool, Leo."

Leonardo "It's everything we need- lots of space -pretty dry -there's the city's water and electricity."

Michelangelo "The entrance is kind of unprotected."

Leonardo "Yeah, I was thinking we could brick off that tunnel and use the utility tunnel access."

Leonardo "So, shall we do it?"

Page 20[]

Michelangelo "Leo, look... I've been thinking, and I've decided to stay in the apartment."

Leonardo "Alone?"

Michelangelo "It's no problem for me- I'm real quiet -besides, I want to stay near Shadow."

Leonardo "*sigh* You and her seem to be getting along good."

Michelangelo "Yeah, I really get a kick out of that kid..."

Page 21[]

Leonardo "Is it okay with Casey and April?"

Michelangelo "Yeah. I talked to them and they said as long as I don't make any noise, no one will know I'm there."

Michelangelo "Casey's gonna help me knock down a wall that should give me direct access to the sewers so I'll be able to come and go as I please."

Michelangelo "...Are you still gonna move here?"

Page 22[]

Leonardo "Yeah, I guess I've got my mind made up."

Leonardo "This place just feels... more natural to me than the apartment."

Michelangelo "Wow- we're splitting up... it seems so strange..."

Leonardo "We're getting older. I guess it's natural we'd all want our own spaces."

Michelangelo "Man, I got this heavy feeling."

Michelangelo "Everything we've known, it's over."

Leonardo "No, not over."

Leonardo "Everything's just different now."

(A dust cloud moves across a desert landscape and away from the D.A.R.P.A. facility.)
