Evil April was a character developed by Kevin Eastman for the unproduced fourth TMNT film, The Foot Walks Again. Displaying apparent proficiency in ninja weaponry, it is unknown whether Evil April would have been an alternate dimension counterpart to the April O'Neil character portrayed by Judith Hoag and Paige Turco in the first three live-action films, or a corrupted version of the same character.

Eastman's character design bears similarities to his then-wife, model Julie Strain. On page 294 of Kevin Eastman's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Artobiography (Heavy Metal, 2002), he included a sketch of Strain in character as Stilzar (with her robot army) as a potential character for Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation, which could have been a development of this concept.[1]

Miss D[]

The 1995 film script by Christian Ford and Roger Soffer featured a new villainess referred to as "Miss D" who is revealed to be April O'Neil's evil counterpart from an alternative dimension and serves the evil Spyder in a blood-feud against Kirby and their universe's counterparts of Splinter and the Ninja Turtles, whom she previously betrayed. Described in the script as a "femme fatale technograft," Miss D is equipped with a catlike exo-mask, wrist launchers which fire "Twisters" ("a hissing knot of counter-rotating blades"), an access port on her forearm, concussion grenades, spiked high-heel boots, a steel-studded bustier, and three-dimensional holographic recording technology. The regular April O'Neil became a martial artist and dojo master. During the first confrontation between the counterparts, Miss D declares the "D is for Death." Miss D is seemingly killed by a collapsed water tower during a climatic battle with April.[2]
