Elena Bishop is a character in the 2024 Tales of the TMNT TV series from the Mechazoid arc. She is the sister of Dr. Josefina Bishop and Bishop's primary motivation for creating her Mechazoids. Elena Bishop appears only in a single photograph of the two sisters together. Bishop speaks about her in the past tense, but it is never stated that she is deceased.

During a presentation to Roderick Underwood, Sr., who she hopes will fund Bishop Robotics, Bishop indicates a picture of herself with her sister, Elena. She asks the millionaire to imagine a world where technology lifts humanity up. A world, she says, where people are free to fulfill their true potential, like her sister, Elena, who was born without her legs. Bishop receives the funding and builds her prototype, Mechazoid 00. When the Mechazoid is ready, Bishop tapes the words "For Elena" to its chest. Bishop Makes Her Move
The Mechazoids eventually become self-aware and turn on their human inventor. Bishop tells the Turtles that all she wanted to do was help people, like her sister. Michelangelo asks what happened to her and Bishop says that Elena was born without legs, so she made her prosthetics that allowed her to walk. Elena inspired Bishop to do more for the world.
