Egypt is a Middle Eastern republic. Its capital city is Cairo. Most of Egypt is located in North Africa, but a smaller portion, the Sinai Peninsula, is located in Southwest Asia. The two portions (and the two continents) are connected at the location of the Suez Canal.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles appearances

In Mirage Studios comics, the events of Egyptian Adventure took place in Egypt. Loops, part 1 and part 2 took place in Feenosia, an anthropomorphic kingdom located in Egypt.

Percival Pifflecoot in the 1987 TV series episode Michelangelo, the Sacred Turtle is an egyptologist.

The Ninja Turtles also visit Egypt in the 2012 TV series episode The Curse of Savanti Romero.
