Differences between movie and comic[]
- The comic adaptation features several scenes that were shot but cut from the film: the Turtles emerging shell-first from water at the beginning (later re-instated in the second movie), the Shredder beating up some Foot soldiers that have failed him, the extended training sequence on the farm, and the original ending. There are also many differences in dialogue, most of which have may been altered due to the limited number of pages in the comic.
Notes[]
- The comic has also translated in Traditional Chinese and released in Taiwan, with short Chinese pages about the information of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and the film, and as well as the characters, and as well as Nestle advertisements and as well as the Nestle sponsored coloring page with Turtles drinking the Nespray milk.[1]
- The black-and-white Mirage edition of the comic has several full-page drawings mixed into the comic that are absent from the color editions. All three editions of the book have different cover art.
