Eastman High is a high school located in New York City in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie as well as the Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics. It is the school attended by April O'Neil and subsequently by the Ninja Turtles. The high school mascot is the rhinoceros, and students call themselves the "Eastman Rhinos".
History[]
After meeting the Turtles, April O'Neil has them join her at Eastman High after school has closed for the day. Using a key, she leads them into the school through a back door. The Turtles are fascinated and excited by what they see, and each of them darts around to look at different things. Michelangelo notices a sign on a bulletin board for "Improv Team Try-Outs" and immediately signs up using the name "Michael Angelo". April finally gets them into the dark room where she has gathered all of her information on Superfly and his gang.
Eventually, they defeat Superfly and save the city. The citizens accept them and greet the Turtles and other mutants as heroes. The Turtles are enrolled in Eastman High and on their first day, are greeted warmly by the other students. Raphael joins the wrestling team, Donatello finds his "people" - other kids who play video games, and Michelangelo has jointed the improv team. Donatello has joined the Eastman High robotics club and works alongside two other students, Ian and Irma. Their attempts to repair Metalhead have proven unsuccessful, which Donnie blames on a lack of better resources and equipment. Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (comics) issue 1
