Description[]
Eastlaird University is a university located in New York City near Washington Square. April O'Neil attends Eastlaird as a journalism major freshman[1][2] and writes for the Eastlaird University Daily News investigating reports of the university's involvement with a foreign government's development of a hypertoxic herbicidal deforestation bomb.
History[]
Eastlaird University debuted in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie. April managed to steal Dr. Boringson's identification badge and with it, she unlocked an Eastlaird laboratory and discovered vials of glowing blue liquid. When a security guard entered the laboratory, April made a hasty retreat and once outside, it became clear that she stole several of the vials. It was in front of the university building that Casey Jones II tracked her down. Startled by his sudden approach, April knocked him out. In the family photo that Casey carried with him, April could be seen holding a notebook with "Eastlaird University" emblazoned on the cover. This was how Casey knew her location.
Trivia[]
