The Dragon Dagger is the personal weapon of the Green Ranger. It is used to summon and control the Dragonzord by playing it like a flute. Anyone who has the Dragon Dagger can summon the Dragonzord. The Dagger can project green concussive blasts of energy and would often be coupled with the Red Ranger’s Power Sword for even stronger blasts.

The Turtles discover the unknown ninja, who they have dubbed “Steve the Ninja”, exiting the Mason Technologies building after he’s robbed the technology company. They decide to rush “Steve” en masse and he immediately morphs into the Green Ranger, complete with his Dragon Dagger.MMPR/TMNT #1
Having stolen the Dragon Power Coin, Shredder becomes the Green Ranger and battles Rita Repulsa in the Technodrome. He carries the Dragon Dagger, but does not use it against her. Later, when he attacks the Power Rangers, he does draw the Dagger. MMPR/TMNT #3
When Krang attacks Angel Grove in the Megazord, Tommy is unable to play the Dragon Dagger because he is in his mutant Dragon form and can’t morph. Because he has a Shadow Morpher, Shredder can morph and becomes the Green Ranger. In this form he is able to play the Dragon Dagger and summon the Dragonzord.MMPR/TMNT II #5
