VOICE-OVER INTRO
Hun This is the dawning of a new age. I have seen the past and I have touched the future. I have learned from my late great master that preparation is everything. And I am prepared. Our destiny will soon be at hand. Nothing will stop us now. Nothing!

{Opening sequence; title song}

The episode begins inside Casey Jones’ apartment as he flips through TV channels, watching one news report after another.
Male Newscaster The bank robbers escaped with over three million in untraceable bonds.
Female Reporter Thirteen different trucks have been reported stolen in the last month alone.
Male Broadcaster With an alarming recent uptrend in stolen internet money transfers—
Female Reporter Apparently, the rare coins were stolen as the robbers tunneled into the bank’s vault from the basement of a pawnshop just down the street.
A shadowy figure peers at Casey from the window.
Leonardo No news like bad news, huh, Case?
Startled, Casey leaps to his feet and grabs the lamp that’s next to his chair. Then he sees it’s not a threat.
Casey Jones Oh. Jeez, Raph, don’t sneak up on me like--  [He flicks on the light.] Whoa. Leo. To what do I owe the honor?
Leonardo I’ve been thinking, Casey. Doing a lot of thinking.
Casey Yeah? What’s thinking got to do with me?
Leonardo There’s been a rash of robberies lately.
Casey No kidding. And it ain’t just simple street crime neither. It’s way above the Purple Dragons level, or any of those goons.
Leonardo Exactly. These heists have been expertly pulled off. It feels like something new. Maybe somebody new. And I think we oughta check it out.
He pulls one of his katana.
Casey Whoa, Leo. You been eating out of Raph’s bowl or something?
Leonardo I thought you might want to help.
Casey You kidding? It’ll be the return of the C-Man! [He grabs his gear and pulls on his mask.] Let’s go huntin’.
Elsewhere in the city, two Purple Dragons use a crowbar to break out the window on a flatbed truck.
Dragon 1 I think this oughta meet the boss’ requirements.
Dragon 2 He wants us to call him Master now, remember?
Dragon 1 Whatever! Long as he makes us rich.
Dragon 2 Then move it! We gotta be right on time. No mess-ups!
Casey and Leonardo arrive on the scene, but stay out of sight.
Casey Sounds like these boys are going to a party, Leo.
The truck begins to drive away.
Leonardo Follow the truck, Casey.
Casey Where you going?
Leonardo To hitch a ride.
He runs, flips, and slides under a parked truck before catching up to the flatbed and hopping onto it. The passenger hears something and turns to look back.
Dragon 2 Huh?
He sees nothing. A shot of the undercarriage shows Leonardo clinging there. Casey straps on his helmet and follows on his motorcycle. Cut to a train track. An approaching train’s horn blares. Overhead, a helicopter with the Purple Dragon logo painted on the side moves in to hover over the flatcar on a train which contains a covered shipment that's strapped down.  The helicopter side door slides open to reveal Hun.
Hun That’s the one! Top secret military weapon shipment number XT450! We’re coming up on the road! Transport team, are you ready?
The flatbed drives alongside the tracks, keeping pace with the train.
Dragon 1 We’re here, boss-- I mean, Master Hun. We’re pulling alongside now.
Leonardo Casey, you still back there?
Casey I’m here, Leo. It looks like whoever these dudes are, they’re after that train.
Hun Let’s go! Let’s go! [He and his men throw lines down to the flatcar and clip onto them.] Purple Dragons, time to fly.
He and the men rappel down to the flatcar. Casey spots them from his motorcycle.
Casey Leo! It’s--  it’s Hun! He’s alive.
The Purple Dragons cut the couplers on the front and back of the flatcar. Large hooks lower from a pair of helicopters and the Dragons hook them to the flatcar.
Casey Their roping the whole thing!
Hun Separation in three, two, one!
He presses a detonator and small explosives attached to the couplers explode, finishing the job of detaching the flatcar from the train. The helicopters lift the flatcar off the tracks.
Hun We have go for transfer, Sky Dragons.
Leonardo I’m gonna see what’s going on, Casey.
He climbs up from underneath the flatbed truck. He looks up to see the shipment hovering right over him.
Hun Transport team, prepare for payload drop!
Casey Leo, look out!
Leonardo gasps as the shipment lowers.
Dragon 1 Transport team to Sky Dragon One! Ready for payload drop!
Casey Leo, get outta there, now!
Leonardo Whoa!
Leonardo ducks back under the truck just as the shipment lands on the flatbed. Hun and his team remove the hooks tethering it to the helicopters.
Hun Sky Dragons, you’re free and clear! Remember the plan. Stay low and proceed to Hangar 14. Red will be there to pick you up.
Sky Dragon You got it, Master Hun.
The flatbed turns and drives away from the tracks. Leonardo releases his hold on the undercarriage and rolls out from under the truck. Casey pulls up behind him on his motorcycle as Leonardo stands and stretches.
Casey Man, nice road rash, Leo.
Leonardo I’m okay. Let’s ride.
They drive off after the flatbed. Cut to the White House where Agent Bishop is meeting with the President of the U.S.
President As you know, Agent Bishop, I have never been a big fan of your operation.
Agent Bishop Yes, Mr. President. And I must say that—
President Don’t interrupt me! Do you know how many times I’ve fought to get you more funding? And you and your agency were just about useless in the recent Triceraton invasion! What good are you? And now you and your forces go and attack Oroku Saki’s mansion? Right in the middle of New York City? It’s an outrage! The city’s mayor, two members of Congress and a senator were there. Do you know how many political favors I called in to put a lid on it? Bishop, you had better toe the line! One more fiasco, and I will personally pull the plug on your entire operation! I’ve already got budget cuts to make. And believe you me, I’ve got my eye on your chunk of the pie!
Bishop Sir, you’re absolutely right, sir. No mistakes. You have my word.
President I don’t want your word, Bishop. I want your sorry carcass out of my office now!
Bishop leaves the White House and gets into the back of his limousine. An assistant is waiting and is on the phone.
Assistant Agent Bishop, sir, we have a problem.
Bishop What now?
Assistant Tonight’s shipment was hijacked.
Bishop What? No! That’s the last thing I need! We have to find it now!
Assistant We’re already on it, sir. The tracking devices are still functioning. We’re homing in on its location as we speak.
The limousine drives away. Meanwhile, the flatbed truck with its stolen shipment arrives at the warehouse. Casey and Leonardo pull up across the street. Inside, Hun stands on top of the shipment and lifts his arms triumphantly. His Dragons all cheer.
Hun I have promised to lead you to new heights! And tonight’s score is proof that we are on our way!
Casey and Leonardo watch from a window high above the warehouse floor.
Casey Who would have thunk it? Purple Dragon punks pulling off high-profile jobs.
Leonardo New tricks, old dogs. Come on. Let’s go say hi.
He climbs through the window.
Casey Huh. Fine with me. I didn’t get all dressed up for nothin’.
Hun cuts the ropes holding the canvas in place over the stolen shipment.
Hun With every heist, we grow stronger, more powerful! Gone are the days when the Purple Dragons were simply a two-bit street gang! [Leonardo grabs a Dragon and pulls him behind some crates. There is the sound of punches landing.]  With these weapons and my plans, [Casey taps a Dragon on the shoulder and he turns.]  we will become an organized crime syndicate! [Casey knocks the man out and drags him out of sight.] A true power in the underworld! All of us, together! [Cheering.] Now, let’s get these crates opened and the gear ready for our next operation. [He rips the top off a crate.] I love ripping off military shipments. [He picks up a rifle.] It’s like opening Christmas presents. [In the background, Leonardo knocks out another Dragon.] You never know what you’re gonna get.
Two Dragons stand in front of a metal box with cold air seeping from it. A label reads “T9581”.
Bald Dragon What a cool-looking crate!
Blond Dragon Yeah. [He touches it and yanks his hand back.] Whoa! Wow, it’s really cold. Maybe it’s like a soda machine or something.
Bald Dragon Sounds good to me. Let’s get this thing open.
They attack both sides of the front cover with crowbars. They grunt and struggle. One side pops open, throwing Bald Dragon down. Blond Dragon manages to get his side open and falls as well. The front cover hits the ground with a heavy clank. Dragons stare at the contents, which appears to be a solid block of ice. Zooming in, movement can be seen within the ice.
Blond Dragon What is that? Looks like something’s moving in there.
The ice clears a little more and five green eyes open. There is a low growling sound. The Dragons back away when they hear sounds of ice cracking.
Fang Something’s breaking out!
Blond Dragon What is that?
He grabs Bald Dragon and pushes him out in front.
Bald Dragon Hey! Let go of me!
Hun arrives, picks both of them up by their collars, and tosses them aside. He snatches a clipboard away from one of his men.
Hun That crate isn’t on the manifest. [The ice suddenly shatters and a monster emerges.] Holy...
The monster leaps and tackles Hun to the ground. It turns and growls at the other Dragons, who all run. The monster turns back to Hun, who stares up at it.  The Purple Dragons run past the crates behind which Leonardo and Casey are hiding.
Leonardo Come on.
Casey Show time. [They jump out of hiding.] Goongala!
Purple Dragons run right past them, ignoring the pair.
Dragons Come on! Run! Let’s get outta here!
Leonardo What the shell?
Casey I guess my reputation precedes me. [He walks past a row of crates and steps into the open. A Purple Dragon goes flying through the air.] Uh-oh.
Leonardo joins him and both see the monster wrestling with Hun. He manages to kick it off of him, but the monster bounces off crates and stabs at Hun with a huge claw. Hun rolls aside and the claw breaks the concrete flooring.
Hun Protect the warehouse! I’m not about to lose months of valuable work! We gotta get that thing out of here now! Purple Dragons, let’s take him!
Hun and his men charge at T9581, still sitting atop the shipment of crates. The monster kicks two crates at them and Hun ducks, but the crates strike his men. T9581 takes a swipe at Hun, who once more ducks and then grabs a crate and throws it at the monster’s head. T9581 bats the crate away and drops onto its back as Hun jumps at it. The monster catches him in its spider-like legs and squeezes before flipping onto one hand and throwing Hun across the warehouse. He lands hard and his men charge the monster, but it leaps up high and their swings miss.  T9581 lands between them and knocks them aside.
Hun Blast him!
The Dragons start shooting at the monster, who hops off the flatbed truck and then kicks it, crates and all, at the men.  Hun ducks under the flatbed, but it slams into the other Dragons. T9581 throws a box at Hun, who jumps back. The box pops open and inside is a Minigun. He picks it up and starts firing at T9581 from point blank range.
Hun You crashed the wrong party, freak!
The Minigun tears into T9581 and nearly splits the monster in half. It crawls away behind stacks of boxes and Hun laughs. He starts forward to hunt the monster down.
Hun Come out, come out, wherever you are. [Three shuriken hit the Minigun.] What? No! It can’t be!
Leonardo jumps down from a support beam and slices the Minigun. It blows up in Hun’s hands. Casey then charges him.
Casey Ha~ah!
Hun Jones! Uh!
Casey elbows him in the gut and then sweeps his feet from under him with a hockey stick.
Casey You and me, we got unfinished business!
Hun Bring it on. [Leonardo hops onto a box behind him.] Thought you turtles were destroyed.
Leonardo There’s a lot of that going around.
Casey He’s mine, Leo!
Leonardo I’ll just soften him up a little for you.
They both attack Hun.
Casey Goongala!
While they are fighting, the scene shifts to T9581. It is split in two, lying on the ground and groaning in pain. As the monster looks up, it starts to have a memory flashback of a woman in a wedding gown, and a man in uniform dress whites. They hug and look at one another. The monster groans and then its bottom half starts to move. Tentacles shoot out and connect with tentacles in the front half. They tighten and pull together, making the monster whole again. Meanwhile, a black helicopter flies over the city. Inside is Agent Bishop and is troops.
Bishop Report. If you haven’t located the exact position of T9581 in thirty seconds, you’re gonna be volunteering for genetic research.
Soldier Uh, that won’t be necessary, sir. We’re closing in on the homing beacon now.
Baxter Stockman stands nearby, looking at a monitor.
Stockman Bishop, I’ve been reviewing your work in genetic manipulations. It’s almost as brilliant as something I might have done. But I’ve noticed a certain anomaly I think I can fix. Especially if you’re going to keep your end of our bargain. I’m really—
Bishop Silence, Stockman! I haven’t got time for your servile chatter.
In the warehouse, the fight continues. Casey swings a bat at Hun, but he grabs the bat and smashes Casey against the truck. Leonardo jumps at Hun, who grabs his arm and slams him on the floor. Leonardo drops his swords, but as Hun swings his arm back to throw the turtle, Leonardo flips over and grasps Hun’s arm, locking it and dropping Hun on the floor. Leonardo retrieves his swords and walks towards Hun, who rolls over and groans. T9581 comes out from behind the boxes and charges, leaping and biting down on Leonardo’s shoulder and carapace.
Leonardo Ah!
T9581 lifts Leonardo into the air and shakes him.
Hun You gotta be kidding me. That thing is still alive? I must have unloaded a thousand rounds into it.
Casey hops off the truck and uses Hun’s shoulder as a launching pad to leap on top of the monster. He gets his bat under the monster’s neck and yanks back.
Casey Cough him up, Goonzilla!
Hun gets out of the way as the monster throws Leonardo across the warehouse. Casey clings to its back and starts beating it with his bat. The monster can’t reach him, so it runs for a support post, grabs on, and climbs up onto an overhead beam. This causes Casey to lose his grip and fall. He hits a stack of crates.
Leonardo Casey!
Casey Man, Leo, I wish I had a shell. One of those things would come in real handy. [Leonardo reaches down to give him a hand. The monster is crawling on a beam right above them.] Look out!
Leonardo yanks Casey off the crates as the monster jumps down. They turn, drawing their weapons as the monster goes after them.
Casey All right, ugly, let’s dance!
Suddenly they hear the sound of a bell ringing. The sound stops the creature as it’s about to strike. Leonardo and Casey look at one another in confusion. T9581 begins having another flashback. In it, the man in dress uniform watches the bride walk towards him as a clergyman waits. Standing next to the man is Agent Bishop. The bride takes the man’s hands and the bell rings again. In the present, T9581 turns around and runs.
Casey This just gets weirder and weirder.
The monster crashes through the warehouse wall and flees.
Leonardo Come on, Casey. We can’t just let this thing run free throughout the city.
They leave the warehouse. Casey spots the monster.
Casey Over there!
Hun watches as Casey and Leonardo chase the monster.
Hun Let those idiots chase after that thing. Purple Dragons, time to move the goods! Let’s load up!
Bishop’s helicopter flies towards the river.
Soldier Agent Bishop, sir, T9581 is moving out onto the salt marshes.
Bishop Stay on his trail. I have an idea where he’s going.
T9581 walks through the salt marshes towards housing surrounded by wire fences.
Leonardo That thing is headed towards those houses. Those people won’t stand a chance. Come on!
Leonardo and Casey run to catch up to the monster. Bishop is closing in.
Soldier Sir, T9581 is headed towards a housing complex near the Brooklyn Naval Yard.
The monitor shows the monster nearing the fences.
Bishop He still remembers. Fascinating.
T9581 crashes through a section of fence and enters a fueling station yard. Casey and Leonardo are right behind the monster. Leonardo runs forward and bounces off of T9581’s back, landing in front of it.
Leonardo All right, big guy! This is as far as you go!
The trio square off and start fighting near a row of gas pumps. The helicopter’s monitor catches the action.
Soldier There, sir!
Bishop What’s this? It’s one of the turtles! I thought the turtles were destroyed.
Soldier Your orders, sir?
Bishop We have to get T9581 under control at all costs. Prepare for containment. Then we’ll worry about the turtle.
Leonardo is hit and lands on the ground in front of a fuel container.
Leonardo Aah!
Casey Yo! Turtle ain’t on the menu tonight, gruesome! [He swings at hockey stick at the monster’s head and T9581 bites it in half.] Hey, that stick was signed by Gretzky!
Both Casey and Leonardo attack the monster again. Suddenly a bright spotlight shines down onto T9581 from the helicopter. A shot is fired at Leonardo, and he leaps out of the way. Cables shoot down from the plane to wrap around T9581’s appendages and its middle. The monster starts to struggle.
Casey Now what?
T9581 reaches up to grasp the cables, bunching them together and pulling on the helicopter.
Bishop Get the rest of the cables on it now! [The helicopter starts shaking.] More power to the rotors!
One by one the cables snap. One of the cables whips across the yard and strikes the side of a fuel truck, slicing into it and releasing a gas into the air. T9581 swings other cables around. Leonardo grabs Casey’s arm.
Leonardo Casey, we have to run, now!
The pair take off. In a nearby apartment, the woman from T9581’s memories pulls aside her curtains to see what is happening outside. The monster continues pulling on a cable that’s still attached to the helicopter and backing towards the fuel tanker. More cables shoot down and catch one of the monster’s legs, pulling it off balance. It falls against the hut which covers the gas pumps and the structure collapses on the monster.
Bishop This is another fiasco, isn’t it?
Gas leaks out of the broken pumps, and seeps along the ground towards the truck, igniting along the way. The fire reaches the truck as T9581 rises from the debris covering it. Suddenly the truck explodes, throwing Leonardo and Casey to the ground. The helicopter sways wildly before it’s brought under control.
Soldier There’s no sign of T9581, sir. He must have been destroyed.
Bishop Let’s get clear before the authorities arrive. I don’t want anyone knowing we’re involved.
The helicopter flies away. Casey and Leonardo watch from nearby.
Casey Leo, what was that all about?
Leonardo I don’t know, Casey, and I doubt we’ll ever know.
The woman watches as the fire burns. A little boy draws her attention away from the window.
Boy Mommy, I was dreaming about Daddy. It was horrible!
He runs to his mother and she hugs him.
Mrs. Finn It’s okay. Daddy is in a better place, remember?
On the mantel is a wedding picture. Hanging from the picture are dog tags reading ‘Finn J. U.S.N T9581. In the harbor, a bell rings on a swaying buoy. A dark shadow swims under the water towards the buoy. It is T9581. The monster rises up and wraps it arms around the buoy as it stares at a nearby gazebo – the gazebo where it, as J. Finn, was married. As T9581 remembers that day, it begins to cry.
