Dr. Davens is a character who appears in the episode Unidentified Flying Leonardo of the 1987 animated TV series. He uses a Vita-Ray Beam Gun to enlarge vegetables in High Falls in Upstate New York. He plans on making lots of money with his giant crop and is using a fake "UFO" to keep people from finding out about his top secret research. He kidnapped April. The Turtles arrive in High Falls and Michelangelo stops Dr. Davens before he can destroy the entire town. Once Dr. Davens is discovered, the townspeople realize that there never really were any aliens in their town and April and the Turtles return home.[1]
