Donatello and Leatherhead is a three-part special mini-series published by Archie Comics as part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures continuity. As its name suggests, the mini-series stars Donatello and Jess Harley (Archie TMNT's Leatherhead) as its two main characters. It was published between July and September of 1993.

Part 1: Hassles in Hollow Earth![]

Published July 1993.
Donatello and Leatherhead are recruited by three strange beings who need them to save Hollow Earth. Given no time to agree to this mission, the spaceship they've been coerced into zips around the planet and then plunges into a volcano. In the lush interior of the planet, the pair are unceremoniously kicked out so they can begin the mission they never volunteered for.
Part 2: Found: One Lost World![]

Published August 1993.
Donatello and Leatherhead continue their adventures in the Hollow Earth. Emur has been carted off to another world within the Hollow Earth world and the pair of mutants trek after him, determined to effect a rescue. What they find is a world inhabited by dinosaurs and danger.
Part 3: Attack of the Amazons[]

Published September 1993.
Leatherhead attempts to reason with the Pterodon that has carried him away, telling it the story of he and Donatello's most recent adventures. Meanwhile, Donatello and Emur are trying to talk sense to the Amazons, who are too suspicious of the two males to listen. A sudden giant worm attack proves Don and Emur's bravery, and the Amazons agree to aid them in their search for their friend.
