Donatello in The Next Mutation is voiced by Jason Gray-Stanford. In the Next Mutation, Donatello uses a metal Bo staff. Also in the show, he is a lot more knowledgeable and is more concerned on what is controlling the lair; science or magic, which leads to him constantly arguing with Venus de Milo.

One of Donatello's inventions is the "eye in the sky", a device he uses to monitor both the sewer systems and the city. He wears the controls on his wrist.

Trivia

• In "East Meets West, Part 1", Splinter mentions that Raph and the rest of the Turtles are almost 18, and by the time of "Enemy of My Enemy", Raph mentions that he and the rest of the turtles are 18.
