In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Rizzoli), Donatello is a mutant turtle, and one of the four ninja sons adopted and trained by Hamato Yoshi (a.k.a. Splinter), along with his brothers Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raffaello.
History[]
Reporter April O'Neil is chased into the sewers by a gang of thugs whose boss doesn't want her to continue her reports of thefts of scientific materials. They catch up to her, but before they can attack, the Ninja Turtles arrive and knock-out the thugs. After hearing their story, April accuses them of being thieves, but Donatello asks if she's out of her shell because they are the ones who saved her. They finally convince her they are not the bad guys and celebrate with pizza. Donatello's choice is a blueberry and mayonnaise pizza. La Nascita di un' amicizia
