Synopsis[]
T.J. Shevlin hides in a toilet stall during a security lockdown at E.P.F HQ. He is surprised by a naked Mondo Gecko emerging from his camouflage mode. Mondo knocks Shevlin out with a shutō-uchi to the neck, then takes his identification card. Mondo uses this car to enter a server room.
Agent Bishop visits his father at The Greater New York Senior Living. John tells his dad about the recent events with the E.P.F. and Wayne realizes his son is talking about "monsters". He tells John about a time when United States President Dwight D. Eisenhower, a five star general war hero and leader of the country, visited Area 51 and was absolutely frightened by what he saw. Wayne tries elaborating that it wasn't quite the "monsters" themselves that Eisenhower was shocked by, but what the U.S. military had become by hunting them, and that some of these "monsters" just want to be left alone. Unfortunately, John blows off his father's warnings, not at all helped by Wayne drifting out of lucidity directly afterward.
Wayne's nurse, Angie Starks, tells the younger Bishop that he has moments where he seems like his old self, and to cherish those. John balks at this and calls his father a shell of the Cold War hero he once was. She comments on the damage on John's face, saying he looks like he "picked a fight with Mike Tyson"; Bishop says it was a giant talking manta ray. Starks tries assuring John that his father is still mentally himself somewhere deep within, but before the conversation can continue, he gets a text message stating that from Wesley Knight saying that Alex Winters has found their quarry. He hops into an E.P.F. vehicle and loads up a pair of goggles.
Outside Old Hob's apartment, Dark Water's presence unnerves the Turtles. Mike insists they get a plan together fast; Hob's measures are to uncover the stash of guns he has under the floorboards, making it clear that he's got a Null Stun Gun to assuage the Turtles' worries of killing. Leonardo makes a plan for escape. Hob blasts his stun gun into the crowd as a distraction, but as Don and Raphael try to make their move, they are spotted and his with lasers and tranquilizer darts. Donatello's prosthetic carapace takes the brunt of the attack, but one dart hits Raph, sedating him instantly. Hob uses his stun gun to cover them, but the opposition uses an Active Denial System to blast Leo and Mike. Hob takes out the truck carrying the ADS with a Null Grenade.
The five mutants start heading out now that their way is clear, but Leo jinxes them by stating that they "might" have reinforcements just before they are confronted by a Bishop-controlled Slash. Before Slash can injure anyone, Sally rolls in in a truck, firing tear gas at him, and the Turtles and Hob pile in. They're chased, however, by the cops and Sally makes a decision to drive straight off the bridge.
Sally, Hob, and the Turtles pop up in the sewer access pool in the Church, met by Mondo and Pepperoni. Mondo tells Sally he saw her manuever on the bridge on TV, pointing to Detective Lewis brushing it off as a "joint training operation" between the feds and NYPD on a report on Channel 6. Meanwhile, Don looks over the data Mondo stole from the E.P.F., and finds nothing he can use, only having employee data - he apparently only got their human resources server. Hob, however, eyes the printout as the others strategize, and suddenly notice Hob missing, with Pepperoni taking his sat.
Hob has absconded to The Greater New York Senior Living and calls up Agent Bishop. As Bishop demands to know how he got his number, Hob tells him he has something more important to reveal, that he has someone who wants to "say hi". Wayne tells his son that the monsters have got him.
