The appearance of demons in the various continuities of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise has become a semi-recurring occurrence.

Mirage[]

In the Mirage comics, Savanti Romero was once human, but was transformed into a demon by Lord Simultaneous as punishment for his crimes. In Halls of Lost Legends, Loki summons the demon Grendel to fight the Ninja Turtles, Raphael: Bad Moon Rising features a demon named Lord Incubor, an inhabitant of the world of Nocturna, and in The Burning Man (Tales issue), the Foot Clan summons The Burning Man.

Archie[]

In the Archie Comics, Null, a recurring adversary of the Turtles, is a demonic businessman who claims to be the Devil himself. Noi Tai Dar is a demon released to Earth by Chien Khan in Midnight Sun, Part 3.

2012 TV Series[]

In the 2012 TV series, "Scroll of the Demodragon" introduces Kavaxas, the lord of the Demodragons, a race of demonic dragons.

Rise of the TMNT[]

In the 2018 animated series, demons exist most prominently among the Yōkai population and are typically regarded as antagonistic in nature. The abilities and appearances of demons vary. Raphael refers to Mrs. Cuddles as a demon in "Mrs. Cuddles". The Shredder is a centuries-old demon stemming from the mystic Kuroi Yōroi bent on terrorizing humanity. Leonardo expresses in "The Purple Game" that he often thinks Donatello behaves as if possessed by a demonic force. Splinter refers to Gus as a "demon dog" in "The Ancient Art of Ninja Hide and Seek". Muninn mentions a lava demon that resides around Devil's Backbone in the Hidden City in "Goyles, Goyles, Goyles". The Arch of Aquinnah has the mystic power to transform anyone who crosses beneath it into a demonic warrior and Tim Dunkman uses it in "Air Turtle" to turn himself and his basketball team the Daves into demons to defeat the Knights. Baron Draxum refers to Heather as a "demon child" in "Hidden City's Most Wanted".
