The Demogorgons are predatory creatures that inhabit Dimension X and the Upside Down. All Demogorgons obey The Mind Flayer and make up part of the Upside Down's hive mind. Under the hive mind’s influence, Demogorgons are murderous, violent and have limited intelligence.
Demogorgons grow from a pollywog type stage (stage 1) to stage 6, when they are full grown. At stage 5 they are known as Demodogs.

The Tourists[]
New York City, 1985. A Demodog runs through a subway train, startling riders who think it's a large rat. Soon after, the kids from Hawkins, while visiting the city, hear a noise that makes them believe Demodogs are nearby. They enter a subway tunnel and encounter Demomousers instead. The Turtles arrive just then and destroy the Demomousers. However, the hybrid creatures have been followed by actual Demodogs, but before the Turtles can leap into action again, Eleven uses her psychic power to smash the creatures against each other.
