In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters 2, Darius Dun/Collectors is a four-member demonic entity born from the fusion of the ghost of Darius Dun with the Collectors.
The ghost of Darius Dun originally summoned the Collectors—already an extreme act for a ghost or any other entity—to seek revenge against Splinter for ordering his execution in life, by going after Splinter's beloved Turtle sons. When Darius summoned the Collectors for the second time in order to berate them for their failure to finish the job quickly, they devoured his entire ghost. However, Darius' spiritual essence was so overwhelmingly toxic to the Collectors that, instead of completely ingesting him, this essence asserted itself and merged with the Collectors, creating a new entity who was both Darius Dun and the Collectors. This new entity pursued the Turtles back to the Ghostbusters' dimension, where they were anticipated and ambushed by the Turtles, who assisted the Ghostbusters in containing the entity through the trapgate directly into the Ghostbusters' ecto-containment unit, from which the entity would be trapped for at least a millennium or as long as the containment unit contained to operate.
