In Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dastardly Danny is a member of the Mud Dogs.
Physical appearance[]
Dastardly Danny is a rat Yōkai with black kinked whiskers on his muzzle, a dark pink nose and tail, two nicks in his right ear, dark circles under his eyes, yellow sclerae and teeth, short brown fur, and a thin figure. He wears a purple pinstripe suit with large shoulder pads paired with a white dress shirt, dark purple pants, a dark purple tie, and a dark purple fedora with a light purple ribbon.
History[]
Danny debuted in "Raph's Ride-Along" while incarcerated for an unknown crime alongside the other Mud Dogs. When Raph was also put in custody after being mistaken for Heinous Green, Danny decided to make him the leader of the group, much to Loathsome Leonard's disappointment. After escaping the Hidden City Police, Danny carried out Raph's plan to rob the Hidden City Police Station, unaware that Raph was trying to get him and the rest of the Mud Dogs arrested. After succeeding in stealing the confiscated money, Danny was thrown into a luxury prison cell by Raph and made it the Mud Dogs' refuge. He then sought out Big Mama to offer her her due share of the money, but once she revealed that Raph wasn't Heinous Green, Danny and the other Mud Dogs attempted to kill Raph, but accidentally collided with Big Mama instead after Raph dodged their attack.

Friends and allies[]
- Malicious Mickey: Mickey is a fellow Mud Dog and Danny seems to get along with him. However, their relationship beyond that is currently unknown.
- Loathsome Leonard: Leonard is a fellow Mud Dog who Danny demoted from being the leader of the Mud Dogs in exchange for Heinous Green (who was actually Raph). He didn't entertain Leonard's protests about his change of position, curtly shutting them down. However, their relationship beyond that is currently unknown.
- Big Mama: Danny found the notion of depriving Big Mama the money from their crime ridiculous when Raph suggested it, well aware of her power. Danny approached her at her Battle Nexus to give her a portion and obeyed Big Mama when she ordered him to kill Raph.
- Heinous Green: Danny admires Heinous Green, already knowing of him before meeting him in "Raph's Ride-Along", but not well as he didn't know his personality nor his appearance.
Enemies[]
- Raphael: Danny initially attempted to intimidate Raph, but was friendly towards him after being told he was infamous Hidden City criminal Heinous Green. Although he was tricked by Raph, Danny admired him all the same, even making him leader immediately after encountering him. However, he was angered to discover Raph's identity was fake and tried to kill him.

- Danny is a parody of Donatello in Rise of the TMNT and his character outside of this iteration in general.
- His voice actor, Rob Paulsen, was the voice of Donatello in 2012 TV series.
