DC Comics (DC originally standing for Detective Comics) is one of the "big two" comic book publishing companies in the United States (the other being Marvel Comics). Founded in 1934, they have produced many popular comic books, including some internationally recognizable titles, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, Harley Quinn, Black Canary and Green Lantern.
DC co-published Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II and Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III. Their characters are also the basis for the Injustice video game series, in which the Ninja Turtles are downloadable guest characters for the second installment.
