The dōjō is where the Turtles train and learn about ninjutsu. Completely done in a traditional Japanese décor, it has a large tree in the center of the room under a skylight grate. It is connected to the rest of the lair by the living room. The dōjō's main entrance directly faces the kitchen's entrance, and the green folding partitions separate the dōjō from the concrete ledge above the "moat" in the living room. The only way to access Splinter's bedroom is through the dōjō. As shown in "The Deadly Venom" and "Requiem", only one eye of the larger of Splinter's daruma dolls is painted, signifying there is an unfinished goal he set.
