Crognard the Barbarian
Crognard the Barbarian is a fictional cartoon series and the Turtles' new favorite show in the 2012 TV series' third season. It's an homage to the 80s cartoons Thundarr the Barbarian and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. It airs on Channel 3.
Description[]
Crognard the Barbarian portrays the fictional adventures of Crognard and his friends on an unnamed alien planet full of strange creatures and terrible monsters.
Characters[]
Much like in Space Heroes and SRMFF!, each of the main characters in the cartoon represent one of the series characters.

- Crognard (Brian Bloom) - A barbarian who blindly charges into battle.
- Wizardess (Mae Whitman) - A sorceress ally of Crognard.
- Spooch (Scott Menville) - An anxious flying creature that is often misused by Crognard's group.
- Graah (Nolan North) - A burly monstrous ally of Crognard.

- Slug Person (Nolan North) - The leader of the Slug People.
- Golek - A lizard that Crognard rides.
- Giant Mountain Demon - A gigantic demon living in the mountains.

Episodes featuring "Crognard the Barbarian"[]
- Within the Woods - April, Casey and the Turtles, except for Leo, are watching the Slug People episode at the O'Neil Farm. Crognard charges to battle against the Slug People even though they seem to be kind creatures. The next night, the lights go off and Mikey can't finish watching an episode.
- A Foot Too Big - A brief image of the cartoon shows on the television as Bigfoot feeds popcorn to Donatello.
- The Croaking - Crognard rides his lizard into battle to save Wizardess from a Giant Mountain Demon, Mikey gets too excited by the episode and destroys the living room.
- In Dreams - Crognard, Wizardess, and Graah battle flaming comets.
- Race with the Demon - The horned centaur Muurg has stolen Crognard's jewel causing Crognard to go after him.
- Return to New York - Crognard and his allies face off against the evil overlord Megalord Zarrik.
- The Pig and The Rhino - Crognard and his allies face off against the giant two-headed ogre Grom and Grum who are terrorizing the village of Magooloorooroo.
- Casey Jones VS. The Underworld - Crognard and his allies find themselves outnumbered 1,000 to 1 by the Gorricks, but Crognard refuses to go down without a fight.
- Clash of the Mutanimals - The evil wizard Malfidor takes control of the minds of Wizardess, Spooch, and Graah, but was unable to take over Crognard's mind. Upon Crognard breaking Malfidor's mind control, Wizardess, Spooch, and Graah beat up Malfidor as Crognard delivers the episode's moral to the viewers quoting "Remember, kids, friendship beats evil mind control every time." Spooch agrees with him with that moral.
- Meet Mondo Gecko - Crognard, Wizardess, Graah, and Spooch are chased by a giant rock head through a maze of traps. As the head shoots lasers, darts, and fire at them, a trap door opens in front of the group. Wizardess conjures up a magic carpet which carries all but Crognard to safety. Crognard misses the carpet and falls into the trap, landing on sharp, pointed spikes. He is unharmed however, because "Iron spikes mean nothing to Crognard's mystic pecs!"
- Attack of the Mega Shredder! - Crognard faces off against a Rock Giant.
- Dinosaur Seen in Sewers! - Crognard dies anti-climatically during his show's series finale when he is swallowed by the Dread Dragon Wigglepuss. Michelangelo's online search verified that it was the real end of the series and his death was permanent. Thus he re-edited the footage to show Crognard surviving the battle.
Trivia[]
- The studio that produces Crognard the Barbarian, is called Auman Murakami Enterprises, Inc. This name refers to Brandon Auman, a script writer of the TMNT series, and Murakami-Wolf studios which produced the 1987 TV series, and a possible reference to Glen Murakami, with whom Ciro Nieli worked with on the 2003 Teen Titans series.
