Cracked was an American humor magazine founded in 1958 by Sol Brodsky. It was the longest-running of MAD magazine's imitators, deliberately copying its more famous rival as closely as possible, even recruiting past MAD artists as regulars. Though the publication ended in 2007, it survives today as an online outlet, which operates as an independent humor site called Cracked.com.
Cracked magazine’s typical issue included two television or movie parodies. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles appeared in several of the magazines, often combined with other franchise parodies. Jack Kirby was one of the many talented artists who contributed at least once to Cracked.
