In the IDW continuity, cloud-beasts are animal species on the planet that Eymo and Anemon live on, which regularly and indiscriminately attack other creatures. They resemble massive anglerfish and float through the air as if swimming through water, usually in pursuit of food.
Despite their massive size, the cloud-beasts do not have proportional strength and resilience. Anemon and Hakk-R are only a fraction of the cloud-beasts' size, but are able to easily dispose of them with their superior strength.
