Summary[]
Following the previous part, Splinter meditates and communicates through Pantheon and learns through meditative trance that Kitsune planning to resurrect Shredder, because she loves him and he loves her. It turns out that Kitsune was doing it out of love of him. Splinter wakes up and explains to April and her parents about this. April is afraid to lose her sensei, but Splinter assures him that he'll be fine, and with this, he says goodbye to April and her family, before heading to Foot Headquarters.
Meanwhile, Karai tries to fight her way out, but Ocho, who's under control by Kitsune and her sword, chases after her and continually stands on her way. Kitsune senses Karai's presence, so she captures her and prepares to strike her with her sword, but Alopex, who senses Kitsune from her medallion, heads up top and rescues Karai.
Meanwhile, in the throne room, Leonardo, Raphael, Casey Jones and Jennika battle Agent Bishop and Hun. Bebop and Rocksteady manage to kill the two of Slash clones, but one remaining clone appears and incapacitates Bebop and Rocksteady, thanks to Hun controlling it. Furious, Casey lashes out at his father and admonishes him for never changing as Hun starts to argue that point by saying that he shouldn't have befriended mutants as father and son started to scuffle again.
As Bishop, using his exo-suit, defeats Leo and Raph explodes in berserk and blind rage. A crazed and furious Raph starts ragingly and violently smashing Bishop's suit and furiously shrieks at Bishop to come out or he'll kill him. As horrified Bishop begs for Raphael to stop, Leonardo is horrified by Raphael's violent behavior and begs him to stop. Raph looks at his eyes and apologizes to Leo for this and hugs him.
As Casey continuously argues with his father while Leo and Raph continue their fight with Bishop. While fighting, Leo tells Bishop that no one can break apart their family. Furious upon hearing this, Bishop asks what they know about family as he is the one who knows what family is, but he despises the Turtles' family because Splinter abandoned them.
Bishop arrives and threatens to end Casey's life by shooting him with death ray from his damaged hand. Fearing for his son's life, Hun darts in front of Casey, sacrificing himself as he takes the blast meant for his son. It is a kill shot and Casey runs to his mortally wounded father. As Bishop attacks Leo, one of Slash clones, who has memories of real Slash crushing Wayne Bishop (Bishop's father) to death, so he rushes to Bishop's suit and crushes it with one leg, killing dwarfed John Bishop and ending his reign of terror for good. Slash clone weakly utters: "Bad... Little man."
Meanwhile, Casey, who's horrified for his dad's selfless act to sacrifice his life for him, rushes to his body. Hun apologizes to his son and redeems himself, finally reconciling with his son. With this, Hun lets out his final breath and dies in his son's arms. Heartbroken by his fully-redeemed father's death, Casey cries his death, with Leo, Raph and Jenny looking at Hun's dead body with horror and sadness.
Meanwhile, Karai fights Ocho as Kitsune begins resurrecting Shredder. After this, Ocho transforms from her yokai form into her human form. With this, Ocho dies for seconds before crumbling into dust. The portal opens and Dragon appears!
As the battle ensues and the city falls, Donatello and Michelangelo opening the portal and evacuate orphan children to Planet Neutrino, where this could be a safest place for children to stay. Before they leave, they say goodbye to their allies, and two children hug Michelangelo, seconds before entering the portal to their new home.
Meanwhile, The turtles and their allies arrive and are horrified by seeing Dragon entering their world, ensuing chaos and destruction. Splinter appears with Oroku Saki's skull. As the turtles and their allies battle for New York, Splinter telepathically sends his consciousness to the afterlife and he tells his family that he loves them, before dying. With this, the dragon is destroyed and the smoke booms.
Once the smoke clears, fully-resurrected Oroku Saki appears with the corpse of Splinter in his hands, and with Kitsune and the Shredder informs them of Splinter's death, much to their sadness. Oroku Saki praises Splinter for his selfless act to sacrifice his life to save others and says they're forever in his debt and he assures Kitsune that she'll never be alone and embraces her, as the turtles and their allies mourn their fallen master's death.
We see Rat King, along with his rats, watch from rooftops and ruminate about this...
Meanwhile, Zayton Honeycutt communicates with his friends Harold Lilja and Libby Meitner and informs them about Krang's recent war. We see Krang, now reborn... inside of Leatherhead!
