City Art Gallery is a location appearing in the TMHT adventure comic, The Ambush!.
While the Turtles and Splinter are out test driving the Turtle Van, they spot Shredder's mob robbing a bank. Launching themselves from the van, the Turtles manage to subdue a few Footbots, but the remainder which includes Bebop and Rocksteady take off at a fast run. The Turtles and Splinter follow and see the bad guys enter the City Art Gallery.
Inside, the Turtles see various paintings and sculptures while hunting for the bank robbers. Suddenly, Shredder, Krang and gang appear from hiding holes behind the paintings. They have captured Splinter and try to escape with him. Shredder even destroys some priceless paintings and statues along the way, but the Turtles manage to get Splinter back. The bad guys flee and Splinter comes to. He looks around at the destruction and laments the loss, but then the Turtles realize that all of the things that were broken or torn are fakes. A happy Splinter wants to see if there is a real Renaissance room in the gallery, but the Turtles nix that idea, racing out of the building because it's pizza time.
