Chizu is a field leader of the Neko Ninja in the direct service of Lord Hebi in the 2003 animated series. In this incarnation, she is apparently not a friend of Miyamoto Usagi; instead, she is given the task of sending him a message that Usagi's friend Tomoe Ame was a prisoner in Hebi's castle. Her whereabouts in this episode following her first appearance is not known.
