The Chimera is a hybrid mutation between three different creatures: an eagle, a salmon and a worm.
This version of the Chimera is branched off from its original version in the 2012 TV series. Its history before the events of the Amazing Adventures comics is the same as that of Its animated version.

Upon returning to the lair, the Turtles excitedly recount to Splinter a battle they had at the site of the Bird's Eye Optometry billboard. However, their stories vary as each of the Turtles are certain they faced off against a different villain. Donatello insists they were ambushed by the Chimera.
