Synopsis[]
Donatello excitedly tells April that he has been tracing bursts of energy that is equivelent to that needed to power Kraang technology (which Mikey dubs "Krenergy"), and they can likely track down where they are holding her father.
Later, the five of them head to a warehouse that exuded a large amount of "Krenergy", and Mikey assists Raph and Leo fight off The Kraang, despite the fact that he was tasked with helping April and Donnie look for clues. Mike protests that they needed someone to yell "Booyakasha", but he is then quickly knocked into a bunch of filing cabinets after a Kraangdroid backhands him.
After Raph and Leo finish taking out the Kraang, Mikey finally regains consciousness and April asks him if he's okay. Ignoring the likely worse injury done to him by being knocked out, he instead cries about a papercut on his thumb. April bandages up his cut and Mikey thinks she's a wizard for applying basic first aid. Mike shows Leo the paper that cut him, and Leo notices that it's a shipping form addressed to an old T.C.R.I. facility. They head to the old facility and find a large shipping container and open it, hoping to find April's dad inside. Instead, they are chased by Spider Bytez briefly until they are able to lock the container back up and secure him inside.
Raph finds another container that was locked up and upon opening it, April notices a transmitter on the floor that was the same style her dad made. Knowing that the transmitters come in pairs, they use it to track down its twin across town. After Raph bashes the Kraang guards and kicks in the door, they find the facility empty with the other transmitter on a chair.
Back at the Lair, Mikey skates around and knocks into Don, who is carrying a stack of papers, while Leo quotes Captain Ryan from Space Heroes to boost April's confidence that they'll find her dad. April recognizes the quote, as she watched the show with her dad, and says that although she misses him, she knows she's not alone as long as she's with the Turtles. Mikey then cries that he has suffered another papercut.
Notes and trivia[]
- April and her dad are stated to be fans of Space Heroes, a fact that is not corroborated anywhere on the show this continuity is spun off of.
