Channel 6 is a news station in New York City, as seen in the first comic adaptation of the Golden Harvest films. It is the place of employment of reporter April O'Neil and station manager Charles Pennington.
April's reporting on the Foot Clan at Channel 6 got her in hot water with the criminal organization, as well as with Police Chief Sterns, who was agitated at April's tenacity and efforts to hold him accountable for ignoring the crime sprees undertaken by The Foot.

- One of the most glaring differences between the films and first comic adaptation is that the film uses Channel 3 instead of Channel 6. April is later mentioned as working for Channel 3 in the second comic adaptation.
